What is Vedic Astrology?
Also called Jyotisha, Vedic astrology has been practiced for thousands of years. Vedic astrology uses the sidereal calendar, or what I like to call ‘real time degrees’. The planets are tracked in real time in every moment. (Different to the fixed tropical calendar used in Western astrology). Your birth chart is a mandala showing the karma of your life. Through Vedic astrology we are able to see why things are playing out as they are, the timing of life events, where our strengths and weakness lie and utilizing Vedic remedies (mantras, offerings, ritual etc) to support our life goals.
How can I prepare for a reading?
Locate your birth time; for those in the USA it’s usually on your birth certificate. If you’re relying on a family member’s memory, that’s fine too, just let me know. Get clear on what your true questions are for the stars. The better you know what you’re looking for, the more personal the session can become. Set aside un-distracted time for the reading. Have a pen and paper handy for notes, although I will be sending you the audio recording to your inbox too. Gather birth data of anyone else that we will be looking at in your reading: children, partners etc.
What types of readings do you do?
If it’s your first time coming for a reading with me, book an Initial reading - this is my longest session and will give us plenty of time to dive in deep with your chart. Follow up readings are available once you are an existing client with me. People often like to come for a follow up around the time of their birthday, to get an overview for the upcoming year. I also offer Muhurta readings, if you need an auspicious date for an important event. Lastly, I also offer relationship readings - for couples or constellations in any stage of their relationship.
